Academic Issues
At GSS we take care of all of the academic issues involved with signing you up for your requested course at Malaga University, including:
- Tuition and registration with Malaga University.
- Assistance on the first day of the course.
- Personalized academic advice: academic advice and assistance selecting the program that best suites you and rescheduling if needed.
- Credits for your studies: assistance in credit transfer.
- Official transcript and diplomas from the university.
General Assistance
An important part of the service offered by GSS is assisting our clients at all stages with all matters related to their study abroad adventure. We are always there when you need our assistance:
- Pre-departure assistance (advice and help with choosing the right destination, handbook about your destination, assistance with getting a visa if needed, assistance with the pre-credit application, help finding flight tickets).
- On-site orientation available in Malaga 2-4 days before the course starts which will help students to culturally adapt themselves.
- On-site staff that can assist and support you for whatever help you may need during your stay in Spain.
- Emergency Contact (24 hours).
Housing
All the accommodation used by GSS has been carefully inspected by our staff. Additionally, we offer all our clients the option to choose exactly the type of accommodation they prefer. You can choose between:
- Host family: A single or double room with a Spanish host family, including full board, in the centre of Malaga.
- Shared student flat: A single room in a student flat, which you will share with other university students, and which is located in the centre of Malaga.
Social & Cultural Activities
The GSS programs are much more than just the accommodation and courses. We arrange a number of social and cultural activities which are all designed to make sure that our students have a great experience in Spain while at the same time learn about the Spanish culture and practice their Spanish outside the classroom.
- Weekend trips to destinations like Sevilla, Granada, Alicante, Cadiz or Madrid with hotel, transport, guides and entrance to attractions all included.
- Day trips in and close to the city of Malaga.
- Sport events in collaboration with university organizations at Malaga University.
- Guided tours in Malaga to get to know both cultural and social aspects of this big fascinating city.
- Dinner parties where we invite you out to try typical Spanish food.
- Night tour to get to know the best establishments in Malaga.

Airport Pick-up
We will pick you up at the international airport in Malaga and take you directly to your accommodation – no fixed arrival time necessary as the pick-up service is on a personal basis.
Other Services
Apart from the above service, we offer our clients:
- Health and travel insurance: complete health and travel insurance is included in the program price.
- Internet access: at home, at the university, through our local office or agreement with internet cafe.
- Language and cultural exchange with Spanish native students.
- Mobile phone: you will receive upon arrival a free mobile phone which you can use to receive and make calls.
- International phone cards: you will get 5 phone cards which gives you over 500min of free calls to the USA and Europe.
- Free online Spanish courses: students signing up and paying at least 2 months before the starting date will receive a complete Spanish interactive Cd-Rom course. This way you can start practicing before your arrival in Spain.
