Intensive Spring Courses
The intensive spring course is a course made specifically for students that do not have much time available and are interested in learning as much Spanish as possible during a 6 week course in Spain.
The course is given at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers, and with 4 classes per day this is one of the most intensive courses available at Complutense University.
This course takes place during the afternoon from 3pm to 7 pm and students also have the possibility to participate in optional lectures arranged by the university.
Content of Course
The structure of the classes and different levels is the same as in the standard course although with a fixed amount of classes per day. Students at the lower levels will be focusing on basic grammar, sentence structure, pronunciation and vocabulary development.
At the intermediate levels, students will focus on improving conversation skills, comprehension, vocabulary and writing skills.
Finally, at the highest levels the emphasis will be on perfecting conversation and writing skills.
In general all levels will include:
- Grammar: theory and practice.
- Spanish language practice: reading, dictation, spelling, composition.
- Text commentary: reading comprehension and writing skills.
- Conversation: listening comprehension and oral skills.
